An exciting future for airsoft practice

Ideation Begins
Current offerings were too expensive, unreactive or cheap feeling. Began prototyping in cardboard and researching the market.
Functional prototype
A working prototype was built, plywood frame containing 8 vibration sensing paper targets mounted on servos.
ONline Response
The r/airsoft post of the functional prototype is filled with positive feedback and interested players looking to get their hands on a system.
Project on hold
Due to studies taking priority the project was put on hold.
Project re opened
Now returning with improved CAD and Engineering skills the project was reopened, for a better redesign suitable for manufacture.
Mechanical Improvements
The mechanisms for holding and moving the targets redesigned for less maintenance, faster movement and less ricochets to the user.
Electrical IMprovements
More suitable electronic components selected, and simpler wiring to allow for faster manufacture. Potentially a custom pcb.
Initial 5 unit batch
A run of 5 units produced for the first 5 users on the reservation list (coming soon).
Open to orders
A store page created for anyone to buy a unit, and units distrubuted to retailers if feasable.
Further products
Improvements to the project made as needed, while expanding the store to other projects being worked on.
